Full-time, salaried personnel receive the following benefits:

All employees are eligible for the following benefit:

  • ESOP - Progressive Constructors, Inc., continues to recognize the efforts that its employees have made to its success. To reward them, Progressive adopted an Employee Stock Ownership Plan and Trust, originally effective March 1, 1994. This plan continues to be for the exclusive benefit of eligible employees and their beneficiaries. It is designed to invest primarily in Progressive company stock.

    Under the Plan, Progressive's annual contributions are made to a Trust Fund exclusively for the benefit of participants. The Trustees maintain this Trust Fund, which is the funding medium used for the accumulation of Progressive stock and other assets through which benefits are provided. Every participant has two accounts. The Company Stock Account (CSA) is made up of Progressive company stock. The Other Investments Account (OIA) is made up of cash and other investments.

    An employee automatically becomes a participant in the year when he completes 500 hours of service during that calendar year period. Once an employee becomes a participant, he will continue to participate in the Plan until employment is terminated or he works less than 500 hours during the Plan Year.

    When an employee reaches his normal retirement date, becomes totally disabled, or dies, his account automatically becomes 100% "vested," which means the benefits are non-forfeitable. In all other cases, vesting is based on the number of years of service for which the employee is given credit in the Plan. In Progressive's Plan, all amounts credited to an employee's account become 100% vested after 3 years of service. Up until then, 0% is vested.

    Progressive makes all required contributions. No employees are required nor permitted to make contributions to the Plan. Company contributions are determined each year by Progressive's Board of Directors.

Subcontractors

Progressive is licensed and registered in 19 states (listed below), and requires that all subcontractors hired by us follow the required contractors' licensing requirements of the state in which any particular project is located. The states in which we work are as follows:

Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.
